Cecil Ingusan-Ayson is connected with Ayala Foundation’s Filipinas Heritage Library (FHL) since 2005. She handles various library functions in FHL such as selection and acquisition, cataloging and classification, and reference service, among others.

She is also the Coordinator for the LibraryLink Project, an online union catalogue of over 100 Filipiniana libraries in the Philippines. Cecil also facilitated the mounting of three LibraryLink Conferences held biennially since 2008.

Other special collections and projects she handled in FHL include the Himig website (FHL’s Philippine music collection) and the OurLibrary Project (development of community libraries). She was also an assistant researcher for the Pioneers of Philippine Art DVD published by the Ayala Museum in 2006. She also does archival preservation work in FHL.

Cecil graduated from the University of the Philippines – Diliman with a Bachelor’s degree in Library and Information Science in 2004. In the same year, she became 6th placer at the Licensure Examination for Librarians. She is currently taking up a Master’s degree in Library and Information Science with tracks in Archives and Museum Studies, also at the University of the Philippines – Diliman.
