Ma. Luisa R. Madlangbayan has been in the field of librarianship for almost 16 years including 4 years experience as a library student assistant. She graduated Cum Laude with the degree of Bachelor of Secondary Education, major in Library Science from Baliuag University in 2001. She took and passed the board exam in the same year. She worked in a school and academic library during the first two years of her career. She had served the Presidential Management Staff under the Office of the President from 2003-2010 then decided to transfer at the Supreme Court Library in March 2010 with the position of Librarian III. In August 2011, she was promoted to her present position as SC Supervising Judicial Staff Officer (Librarian IV). She handles the acquisition of library materials as well as indexing of legal periodicals.

She has been in the ASLP since 2007, presently the Ex-Officio of the Association. She has participated in a library, museum and archives tour in Germany sponsored by Goethe Institut and BI International together with the 2012 ASLP Board. Likewise, she became the Secretary from 2010-2011 and one of the Board of Directors from 2012-2013 of the Philippine Group of Law Librarians.
