Finished her Master of Library Science at the University of the Philippines Diliman in 1988.

Worked at UP Diliman Main Library (1969 - 1977). Became the Head Librarian at UP-Asian Institute of Tourism (1977 - 1994). Chief Librarian at Emilio Aguinaldo College (1995 - 1998). Head, International Trade Resource Center at Bureau of Export Trade Promotion, Dept. of Trade and Industry (1998 until her retirement) and Library Consultant, Kalayaan College (2017 to present).
