The Association of Special Libraries of the Philippines (ASLP), a PRC-accredited C P D provider, will conduct a summer conference with a theme “Bolstering Research: the Role of Librarians and Information Professionals in the Ideation, Use and Preservation of Outstanding Researches” at Metrocentre Hotel & Convention Center, Tagbilaran City, Bohol from May 22-24, 2019.

The main objective of this seminar is to jumpstart on significant missions for academic and special research librarians in this era of complex, digitally-powered information universe. Specifically, it aims to discuss methods where librarians and information professionals can encourage the proliferation of research culture; enhance library services and collections apropos of the organizational research agenda; and promote best practices and innovations in the promotion and preservation of these research assets.

Librarians, library administrators, support staff, teachers and students of Library & Information Science, consultants and other information professionals are invited to attend the Congress. Conference registration fee includes kit, accommodation, meals, and certificates of participation/appearance.
